Hi. I'm Amy. And that is Seth. I live in Nebraska and never want to leave. I grew up a city girl, but my heart belongs in the country.
After 6.5 years of marriage, Seth and I decided to go for it. We picked up and moved out to a little 5 acre paradise.
In November 2013 we bought this beauty.
We love old homes. They have stories to tell. Our country home was built in 1910. We love the character and the charm of an older home. My mind is swimming with ideas to make it our own. Right now though, we are learning about lagoons, propane prices, quonsets, and county roads.
I cannot wait until Spring so we can start gardening and spending more time outdoors.
We are the humans to two pups: Sheila and Trixie.
Sheila is our beautiful and loyal German Shepherd. I never had a dog growing up, but Seth had a slew of them. We got Sheila the day we closed on our first house 6 years ago. Imagine moving into a new house with a puppy running around. It was an adventure.
She loves the country and being with us wherever we are.
Trixie is my kindred spirit in dog form. She gets me. We got Trixie after we saw a skinny, active puggle at the dog park. Trixie is nothing like that puggle. She is chubby and lazy. But that is okay, because she is my dog, and I will not judge her for living her life.
We are just two crazy kids trying to figure out life together. We know God has big plans for us.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
